Daniela has 7 years of experience in the media industry, covering a broad background in production, journalism, and digital media for the international and domestic market.
Recently she was a multimedia producer for the digital media company VIX. She produced, shot, wrote, and edited video on topics on global affairs, breaking news, technology, science, and interesting people in general. Her videos have gone viral (20+ million views overall) and helped increase the monthly video views of VIX to 200+ million.
Daniela started her career at NBC Universal / Telemundo Networks as a Web Producer and became co-founder of the online magazine "iVillage Mujer de Hoy" for Telemundo.com.
In the same company, she became the Content Producer and Social Media Specialist for the popular Hispanic entertainment show "Suelta La Sopa", overseeing the digital media content for On-Air and social media platforms. During her role, she also managed digital media content for award shows, events, and shows, like "Latin Billboards", "London Olympics 2012", and presidential elections.
Born in Colombia and raised in the United States, she holds a bachelor degree in Broadcast Journalism and International Relations from the University of Miami and received an associates degree in Public Relations from Broward College.
Daniela is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her experience in the media industry has made her Social media savvy and a news junkie. She is a Multi-faceted, storyteller and a creative professional with journalistic, video editing (Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere CC), production, and creative writing skills.
